Before you request Baptism for your child, the Archdiocese of Baltimore and St. Athanasius Church expect the following:

+ Catholic parents and their children must be registered members of St. Athanasius Parish and attending Mass regularly.

+ Please contact the Parish Office to register your child for Baptism.

+ Parents must attend a Baptism Preparation Class at St. Athanasius, if you have not done so in the past three years.

Baptism Preparation Classes are scheduled the 1st Sunday of the month at 12 Noon in the Parish Office. Expectant parents are encouraged to attend the preparation class prior to the birth of their child. Godparents are strongly encouraged to attend the preparation class to prepare them for their role in fostering the faith of your child.

St. Rose- Group Baptisms are scheduled on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 11:00 a.m. Baptisms can also be schedule during a Sunday liturgy.

Group Baptisms are scheduled on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 12 Noon in the Old Church Chapel. Baptisms can also be scheduled during a Sunday liturgy.
