Many people are leaving a legacy after they die as a final act of faithful generosity and loving encouragement to those still living and yet to live. These gifts can serve as a named memorial, offer a financial or tax incentive, and provide a way to connect children or other family to the work of charity and the ministry of the Church. A legacy is made through a bequest in your Last Will and Testament.
You can specify how your legacy will enable ministry at St. Athanasius Church (i.e., building and maintenance, education, liturgy or social concerns). Legacy giving is not only for those with wealth. The value of the gift is not measured by the size of the amount, but rather the amount of heart put into it.
