Lent Cross: A Time to Prepare
05 Mar 2026

Lent & Easter

Stations of the Cross

Stations of the Cross will be held in the Chapel every Friday during Lent beginning on February 20st. English stations will be held at 12 noon, and Bilingual stations will be held at 7:00 pm.

Join Us for The Chosen – Season 5

As we prepare our hearts during this Lenten journey, we invite you to join us for a weekly viewing of Season 5 of The Chosen. We will gather Saturday mornings from 9:00am to 10:00am in the Main Church Hall, beginning Feb. 21 and continuing through April 11. Each session will include the week’s episode along with time for short discussion and prayer. Come deepen your faith, build community, and experience the story of Jesus in a fresh and meaningful way. All are welcome!

Palm Sunday Breakfast

Please mark your calendars for SUNDAY, MARCH 29TH for our Palm Sunday Breakfast! It will be held from 8:30am to 11:00am in the church hall. Wheels, Door Prizes and an Easter Egg Hunt at 11:00! More info to come.

Fasting and Abstinence Guidelines

Catholics ages 18 to 59 years old are asked to observe the law of fasting on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.

  • One full meal may be eaten.
  • Two smaller meals are allowed, provided they do not equal another full meal when combined.
  • No eating between meals.
  • Drinks, including milk and juice, are permitted.

Abstinence

Catholics age 14 and older will abstain from meat. No meat may be eaten on days of abstinence including Ash Wednesday, all Fridays of Lent, and Good Friday.

Special Considerations
If a person’s health or ability to work would be seriously affected, the obligation to fast or abstain does not apply. In such cases, other suitable forms of self-denial are encouraged.

Thank you for your faithful observance of these Lenten practices.
